It's Fall

We are adding pics from Will's first Harley ride (not really) and Halloween! Will was a plump pumpkin for Halloween and went trick-or-treating at Grandpa and Grandma Heller's and Knowlton's, before falling asleep and visiting with Zatechkas.

About two weeks ago Will developed an ear infection and cold : ( It wasn't too fun to see him so fussy! He has been very happy and smiley now that his ear infection has gone away.

Will is almost 4 months old, we can't believe how big he is getting. He has started chewing on everything and drooling all of the time, we think he is teething!!

We had some Saturday morning photo sessions while daddy was at work!

We also added his complete nursery pics : )

A few of Will's "firsts"

We have neglected our duty to update our blog lately! Will is definitely keeping us busy. Over the past few weeks we have seen a few of William's "firsts."

The last weekend in August we took Will on his first trip out of NE, to party with Quinn and Colette in Kansas City. It was quite an adventure for mom and dad! We also had a chance to visit with the Sutkos.

Over the past few weeks, Will has shown us his sweet smile! He also started to coo at us and giggle. It is too cute!

We also watched our first Husker and Raider game this past weekend! He even managed to watch the Bears, I guess for our Chicago relatives : )

Will also went to his first volleyball game to watch Aunt Sara. Our goal is to make all of her home games this season : )

Our last big milestone that we crossed is . . . Will sleeping through the night!! Well, almost. He wakes up around 4:00, but has slept as late as 5:00 am. Mom and dad are looking forward to more nights like this : )

Will's Baptism

On Sunday, August 18th William Michael was baptized. His Godparents are Uncle Jon and Aunt Sarah Zatechka and Uncle David Heller. After baptism we had lunch at Grandpa and Grandma Heller's house. We had a great time seeing our friends and family on Will's big day.

The picture of Will "holding" his bottle is when mommy went back to work (for one day) and I left him with Grandpa Mike. It was too cute : )

Here is Elijah (4 mo) and Will after church and a 4 Gutz generation photo. Will's 2 week doc appt is Friday and we will update the blog with his new measurements!

1 Week Old

Will is one week old already : ) This past Sunday his pediatrician took him off his phototherapy light treatment and his bilirubin level is at 10 now (for those of you that know what that means)
His first bath with Grandma Dixie was this week and as you can see from the pic he does NOT like getting cold!
We are planning our first road trip this weekend to Columbus for Grandpa Timmy's birthday!!!

More newborn pics : )

Welcome William Michael Gutz

On Tuesday, July 22nd at 10:55 am, William Michael Gutz was born!! He weighed 6 lb 14 oz and was 20 in long. Mama and Baby Will are doing well and have appreciated all of the visitors : ) Monday night Stacy's water broke and we anxiously left for the hospital. After a few hours on Pitocin I was dilated and ready for Will to come!!
His pediatrician diagnosed him with jaundice and has used a phototherapy light to help his liver. He looks like a "glow worm." Today Dr. Dek called and said his level of jaundice decreased and we hope to take off him off the light treatment soon.

Stacy's New Mode of Transportation : )

For those of you who have been blessed by my "pleasant" presence over the past few weeks, you can report that I LOVE being pregnant right now!!! Due to lower back, hip, and tail bone pain I have received a stylish walker from the Klutman family. **NO, I don't really use it. This picture was taken after dinner with the Ringenbergs last weekend. Although I do admit the walker is more comfortable than walking without one : (

My 37 week appt. is Thursday and hopefully I will start dilating!! Next week I will have an ultrasound to check the size of Baby G. As always I will keep you updated : )

This pic is from the 4th of July at Tim and Dixie's. Sam's wearing his favorite shirt!

Couple's Baby Shower

Sam and I had the Couple's Baby Shower on June 28th. Stacy's friends Carly, Colette, and Katy planned the barbecue and shower. It was fun seeing everyone and listening to their predictions for Baby G's birthday, gender, and weight. After the baby is born we will announce the big winner!! Thanks everyone for coming to the shower : )

Final Nursery pics!

Grandpa Heller and Sammy put the nursery furniture together a few weeks ago . . . it was quite interesting. And I have had many requests for a belly pic, sorry for those friends and family that are not interested!!!

This video shows the baby pushing through my belly, you can turn off the sound unless you want to hear me yell at Sam and the TV in the background.
